A Desert BnB Beauty - Sydney + Jon's Joshua Tree Wedding

I loved getting to know Sydney and Jon! Working with them was one of my highlights of 2018 and I think these photos show their kind and bright personalities through the warm desert landscape.

They were traveling in Zambia when they got engaged, so I knew these two loved traveling and exploring the globe. I really feel like Joshua Tree calls to a lot of globetrotters and if you've been you totally know why. Where they got married at Love/Love at The Desert Lily B &B really showcases some of the most beautiful aspects of the desert. I loved all of the native plants and succulents that The Blooming Gypsy chose for their florals and it truly brought out the beauty of the Joshua Tree. The details that Renee from Moxie Bright Events sprinkled all around that day were the final flourish to make this wedding day one for the books. My favorite photos were when we were just finishing up sunset portraits and I looked over some rocks and saw that magical pink Joshua Tree sunset we all long to see. We climbed up on the rocks to end the session with some amazing desert views. It was one of those days where everything fell into place perfectly.
