Warm and Elegant Wedding at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum

Heading back to my old stomping grounds of Santa Barbara for this gorgeous September wedding. I used to spend a lot of time in Santa Barbara in college attending Brooks Institute of Photography back in the day. So it was amazing to be back up there for work!

The Santa Barbara Historical Museum is such a simple and beautiful spot to get married at. It embodies all of the Spanish design in Santa Barbara and California but also is like a blank canvas to make your own wedding whatever you want! The space is warm and natural and the architecture is really historical and beautiful. It’s also set up perfectly for a wedding space. It has three separate areas you could use for a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Of course my favorite is the endless areas for gorgeous photos all day long.

Ginelle and Brian had some of their closest family and friends in their wedding party and the absolute sweetest flower girls. The girls got ready at the Upham Hotel and the boys got ready at their home in Santa Barbara. Their ceremony was perfectly lit with the sun shining through the grapevines and you can never beat the weather in Santa Barbara. Their details were so elegant and went perfectly with the space and this vendor team really made the day spectacular. Definitely one of my highlights of 2019! Can’t wait to be up in Santa Barbara again!
