Celebrating 10 years of Love & Peace

Patty and Norm are celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary this year. They not only share a great love of The Beatles but they also share their March 20th wedding day with Yoko Ono and John Lennon. Ono and Lennon were married in Gibraltar and most famously are photographed holding their marriage certificate out in front of the landmark, the Rock of Gibraltar. When they came to me with the idea to recreate this image, I immediately remembered a California landmark, Point Mugu, where we ultimately photographed the recreation of the famous image. We also wanted to recreate the cover of the Wedding Album and other moments of their day in 1969.  I began location scouting, and Patty and Norm started compiling their costumes and here is our modern tribute to Ono and Lennon's famous wedding day photographs, and of course, all the adventures in between. Congratulations to Patty and Norm on their 10 years of Love & Peace together! You are both dear to my heart.
