Vibrant Indian and American Wedding at The Lodge at Lake Malibou
Supriya and Chris got married at one of my favorite venues in Los Angeles, The Lodge at Lake Malibou. The greenery and trees, the beautiful flowers all around the property and the lake across the street, make this spot so charming and what feels like a destination just outside of Los Angeles.
Then add a beautiful couple and two gorgeous and colorful ceremonies celebrating their cultures and traditions and you just can’t top it! This wedding continues to be a favorite for so many reasons. Their co-ed wedding party was a ton of fun to photograph. The first ceremony was what they were calling the Eastern ceremony celebrating Supriya’s Indian culture. The traditions and colors are always some of my favorites to photograph. Then followed by the traditional Western ceremony, with a beautiful BHLDN white wedding dress.
This wedding was actually the first time The Lodge held dinner al fresco on the lawn! I loved it! While dancing and music was inside as usual it was great because it left SO much room for dancing and lounging during the reception. You could really feel the love and amazing energy that day all the way until the end.
