Southern California Beach Engagement Session

These two east coasters found themselves wanting to do a beach location for their engagement session once Rob had a west coast job and Amanda was still in D.C. It would be a beautiful accent to their Napa wedding coming up that spring. They had some of the best scenery of southern and northern California for their engagement and wedding. It was in December and I was cold, but they were not being from the east coast! Photographing beach engagement sessions in the winter is always so fun and easy. There are no crowds and it’s like you have the entire place to yourself which is what happened here. Amanda's dress was so beautiful and the colors went perfectly with the beach vibe she wanted. Flowy dresses are some of the most fun things to wear when doing a beach session since they flow so well in the wind and almost become apart of the story. I loved every minute of this session with them. I really think you can feel their love for one another and the excitement about planning a gorgeous wine country wedding in the spring!
